We Do Not Need an African Culture

Our sympathies must go out to the relatives – where known – of the latest would-be African immigrants into Europe who have drowned off the Italian island of Lampedusa.  This calls for stiffer penalties for people smugglers, including death penalties where it can be proven that they were responsible for transporting the unfortunates in non-seaworthy ships. It does NOT mean that there should be any relaxation in the already minimal attempts to halt this ever-increasing flow of illegal immigrants, many of whom eventually make their way to Britain.

The issue that the media and the Lib-Lab-Con + Ukip parties will not mention, when they suggest that we should let more Africans into our countries, is that unlike many Asians (as long as they are not overwhelming us), very few Africans can make a positive contribution to our Western way of life – our culture. Let us take just three examples of why this is so.

In the footage shown on BBC News today (Oct.3^rd) of the survivors from the sunken ship off  Pantelleria I counted about 40 coming ashore and everyone was a young male. Yet we are told that there were 30 children missing and an unknown number of women. Not for the first time, our practice in an emergency of “women and children first” appears to be replaced by “survival of the fittest” among African males when in groups.

Ten days previously we saw the fiasco enacted in Nairobi where a Kenyan official said that Kenyan troops fired rocket propelled grenades within the Westgate shopping mall, causing much of the roof and floors to collapse. It has to be seen if this caused the death of missing hostages and terrorists still unaccounted for. Anybody who has lived in Africa will tell you that this was not an unusual action.

In  Nigeria, where Islamist extremists are busy murdering Christians and also Moslem youngsters who attend colleges to try and improve themselves, criminals are thieving so much oil from the Niger Delta that Shell is seriously considering moving out. They certainly won’t be able to sell their investment. In the Sept 30 issue of the business section of the Daily Telegraph an account is given of how a tanker recently sailed into the Delta, right under the eyes of Nigeria’s armed forces. Crewed by men working for a criminal gang, it headed inland, hooked up to ‘bunkering points’  illegally installed on Shell’s Trans-Niger pipeline and began to steal oil. The same thing happened a year ago.

The report said that more than 50,000 barrels of oil a day are stolen. Much of it is taken by local gangs to rudimentary refineries, where the crude they cannot process is simply discarded – and nobody cleans it up. Shell chief in Nigeria Peter Voser says “the problem is endemic”. And they still want us to import such people?

Reference my report in September ‘Africa is Colonising Europe’ I subsequently apologised in a comment to the article for the unintentional error in stating that £1.2m Africans had come to the UK in 2011. This was the total living in Britain at the end of 2011. The source was the Wikipedia entry for “Foreign-born population of the United Kingdom”, in  the tabular section  on “Countries of Origin”. I added up all the African countries  to achieve the total.
