"British" Terrorists Convicted

BritishBombers3Three “British” Muslim would-be suicide bombers have been found guilty on terrorism charges and are currently awaiting sentencing.

The three Birmingham men, Irfan Naseer, 31, Irfan Khalid, 27, and Ashik Ali, 27, were found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court,

Earlier jurors were told how the men planned to detonate eight rucksack bombs and other explosive devices.

According to police spokesmen it was the most significant terrorist conspiracy to be unearthed since the 2006 “soft drinks conspiracy” to blow up transatlantic airliners.

According to one of the convicted men the attack was to be “another 9/11” as “revenge for everything”.

The three “British” men were found guilty of 12 counts of preparing for acts of terrorism between December 2010 and their arrest, following security service surveillance, in 2011.

The jury were told how Naseer and Khalid had travelled to Pakistan to received training from al-Qaeda contacts and how, whilst undergoing training, they recorded martyrdom videos.

Previously in Birmingham the accused had recruited others and collected thousands of pounds from unsuspecting members of the public, whilst posing as legitimate street charity workers.

The court was told how Naseer had played a major role, including sending four other Muslim men to Pakistan to receive terrorist training; the four having already pleaded guilty to preparing for acts of terrorism.

Under police interrogation Ali is said to have told detectives that they wanted to wear explosive vests and had considered attacking British soldiers.

In addition two further Muslim men from the former English city of Birmingham, who were part of Naseer and Khalid’s plot, also pleaded guilty to terrorism charges.

Bizarrely, during the course of the trial at Woolwich Crown Court, the three men came across as utter incompetents, not even having a clearly defined target. Furthermore their motives were – we are told – unclear. They are said to have shared a vague hatred of “Western” society and a “general social inadequacy with their place in Britain”. If that were really the case and they had no other motivation, then it begs the question “why didn’t they simply immigrate to Pakistan – a society clearly more in line with their values?” This being a question, some suggest, the authorities are anxious to avoid answering.

In total nine Muslim “British” men have so far been convicted as a result of the combined West Midlands Police/MI5 investigation.

A specialist counter-terrorism prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service, said: “These men had dangerous aspirations and whilst the precise targets remained unclear, the potential for damage and loss of life from their plot should not be underestimated.

“The evidence we put to the court showed the defendants discussing with awe and admiration the attacks of 9/11 and 7/7. These terrorists wanted to do something bigger, speaking of how 7/7 had ‘gone a bit wrong’.”

Meanwhile the police inspector who led the investigation into the plot commented:

“There’s no doubt whatsoever that they were the real deal,” he said. “They are committed, passionate extremists. They had a real stated intention to kill and maim as many people as they possibly can. More than that, they not only had that intention, but they had the capacity and training to make that intention a reality.

“Naseer is a very devious and calculating man. He is someone who had a real hatred of western values, someone who wants to bring his influence to others and a compulsive liar. A very dangerous man.”

Whilst the police and security services are to be congratulated in halting this, the latest in a long line of potential terrorist outrages, the fact remains that it won’t be the last and at some stage one or more of these “home-grown” plots is going to succeed.

This is just a part of the price we pay for a succession of globalist Westminster regimes addiction to multicultural “enrichment” in the pursuit of cheap labour and societal debasement.
