Britain’s Interests First

British foreign policy must be driven by one guiding principle alone — to serve British interests above all else. In reality, this means that Britain’s foreign relations should be determined by the protection of our own national interests — and not by our like or dislike of other nations’ internal politics.

Britain has no right to dictate the internal politics or social configuration of any other nation. We would also expect all other nations to grant this same right to Britain.

A Neutral Foreign Policy

We would have no quarrel with any nation that does not threaten British interests. In this regard, a BDP government will:

– Reach an accord with the Muslim world whereby they will agree to take back their excess population which is currently colonising this country, in exchange for an ironclad guarantee that Britain will never again interfere in the political affairs of the Middle East or try to dictate to any Arab or Muslim country as to what their internal government form should be; and

– Maintain an independent foreign policy of our own, and not a spineless subservience to the USA, the ‘international community’, or any other country.

With regard to Europe, a BDP government will:

– Resolutely oppose the single European currency;

– Support the overwhelming majority of the British people in their desire to keep the Pound and our traditional weights and measures.

At the same time, a BDP government will strive for the best possible relationship with our European neighbours. The nations of Europe should be free to trade and cooperate whenever it is mutually beneficial without being forced into a straightjacket of political and economic unification — which is neither desirable nor beneficial, ultimately practically unfeasible, and guaranteed to create conflict rather than avoid it.

Accordingly, a BDP government will withdraw from the European Union.

In place of the EU, a BDP government will aim towards greater national self-sufficiency, and work to restore Britain’s family and trading ties with Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and to trade with the rest of the world as it suits us.

Following our withdrawal from the EU, the BDP government will use the £43 million per day net contribution Britain at present makes to the European Union to fund many far more useful projects at home.

An End to the Foreign Aid Swindle

In addition, a BDP government will reject the idea that Britain must forever be obliged to subsidise the incompetence and corruption of Third World states by supplying them with financial aid.

Only once poverty and deprivation amongst British people has been eliminated, can any thought be given to foreign aid — and even then, a BDP government will link foreign aid with our voluntary resettlement policy, in terms of which those nations taking significant numbers of people back to their homelands will need cash to help absorb those returning.

The billions of pounds saved every year by this policy will also be reallocated to vital services in Britain.

  1. What a wonderful article. the British Democratic Party policies all link together in a massive dose of common sense. as a proud member I hope we emphasize the economic advantages , as well as the social benefits of voting British Democratic Party.

  2. (Party Member) I hope our Party adopts the Policy of bringing an end to the organisation called the Commonwealth. With it’s rights of citizens to come to our country to live when we are overcrowded is ridiculous. We can still have good relations with these countries and do not need this outdated institution to do so. All real Political Parties have policies on these issues so let’s include this without delay.

  3. No, John. You don’t have to destroy an organisation in order to have your own tough immigration and citizenship requirements. The fault that we don’t have this lies with the globalist traitors of Lib/Lab/CON and not with the Commonwealth.

  4. (Party Member) Steven, apart from its role in assisting in the Population Replacement of the British people, what other aspects of the Commonwealth do you admire?

  5. (Party Member) Although the Prime Minister of Ukraine was an old fashioned incompetent socialist he was democratically elected. When he refused to let his country fall into the clutches of the European Union he was overthrown by violence. Now our Prime Minister is waging ECONOMIC WARFARE against Russia and treating the people in one half of Ukraine as ‘rebels’. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WHEN WE LEAVE the EUROPEAN UNION? Will they declare war on us? Will it be financial warfare or physical retaliation on our elected representatives? It is very dangerous to say no to the EU!

  6. ( Party Official ) The ITALIAN PRIME MINISTER ,Matteo Renzi , has said that the U.K. can not expect to only have the good things , telling C.N.N. that access to the single market without accepting migration was impossible ! Think about it ! This means that he BELIEVES that Mass Immigration is a BAD THING ! No wonder Italy is in such a bad state , being run by people like this ! The British Democratic Party offer our SYMPATHY TO THE Italian people , PARTICULARLY OUR MANY ITALIAN NATIONALIST FRIENDS !

  7. John Shaw ( Party Official ) Reading the above , older article , from May 2013 , I wonder if Donald Trump read it and adopted the common sense policies for himself and America. Read it yourself and then Join us today. You won’t change Britain overnight , but you sure will have done the right thing by yourself and your family !
