9-11 Ten Years Later: Still the Media Ignores the Most Important Question of All: Why?

Ten years to the day after the awful events of 11 September 2001, the controlled media and political pundits all still stoically ignore the biggest question surrounding the attack: “Why?”

Why would have Arabs from Saudi Arabia and Egypt plan for months, and possibly years, to train themselves as pilots, immigrate to the US, and then immolate themselves by flying aircraft full of people into buildings in New York City and Washington DC?

Is it, as George Bush Jr and Tony Blair would have us believe, because they “hate our freedom” ?

The controlled media never addresses the question of “why” Arabs would want to blow up buildings in America (or indeed in any country) apart from occasionally quoting the now-proven liars of Bush and Blair.

Why did the events of 9-11 take place?

There are three answers to this question:

1. There has always been an element of the followers of Islam who have waged war against all infidels, “khafirs” (non-believers) and the west in particular. (See the book “Jihad: Islam’s 1,300 Year War Against Western Civilisation” for details). This war has been waged at varying degrees of intensity since the founding of Islam, and no doubt certain of these elements have played a role in helping to incite terrorism.

2. The second most important factor in the modern Islamist terrorist threat has been the insane, and suicidal, mass immigration policies pursued by the liberal ruling elite in all Western nations.

This open doors immigration policy has allowed millions of Third Worlders of all hues, and from the Islamic World, to enter Europe and America where they have been able to take advantage of the opportunities afforded them by First World infrastructure.

For example, most of the 9-11 hijackers entered the US from Saudi Arabia on a programme called “Visa Express” which expedited entrance visas sent in by private Saudi travel agents. They were literally welcomed into America and were completely free to go about their business, even though many were former militants who had combat experience in theatres which included Bosnia, Yemen and Afghanistan.

Incredibly, five of the 19 hijackers violated federal immigration laws while they were in the United States and were staying in the US illegally.

In the months before the attack, four of the five were stopped by US police for speeding. All four could have been arrested — but liberal “civil rights” laws prevented police from even inquiring as to their immigration status.

In Britain, three of the 7-7 bombers were children of Third World immigrants, and one was born in Jamaica.

As recently as today, Sky News carried a report (“American City is Breeding Terrorists”) detailing how massive Somali Muslim immigration to Minneapolis, Minnesota, has caused the Department of Homeland Security to launch its “biggest domestic terrorism investigation since 2001.”

According to Sky News, “It is estimated up to 40 young men from the Somali community in Minneapolis have been radicalised and recruited to join the al Qaeda affiliate al Shabaab in Somalia. There are also growing fears that the US faces the threat of an attack within its borders from young radicals carrying American passports.”

In Germany, several terrorist attacks and plots have been uncovered related to Islamist immigrants. Just yesterday, police in Berlin announced that they had detained two Muslims during a raid on a mosque and private dwellings. Bomb-making material was recovered.

The lesson is clear and obvious: the policies of mass immigration have allowed Islamist extremists to settle in their target nations and to engage in acts of terrorism against their hosts.

3. The casus belli, or reason given by the Islamists today, for their renewed assault on Western targets is primarily the West’s biased foreign policy in favour of Israel in the Middle East.

Osama Bin Laden, in his “Letter to the American people,” circulated by Islamists in Europe, made this point very clearly. In answer to the question “Why are we fighting and opposing you?” he wrote that the primary cause of al-Qaeda aggression was America’s biased foreign policy in the Middle East which favours Israel above the Arab states.

“(Q1) Why are we fighting and opposing you? The British handed over Palestine, with your help and your support, to the Jews, who have occupied it for more than 50 years; years overflowing with oppression, tyranny, crimes, killing, expulsion, destruction and devastation. The creation and continuation of Israel is one of the greatest crimes, and you are the leaders of its criminals,” Bin Laden wrote.

“And of course there is no need to explain and prove the degree of American support for Israel. The creation of Israel is a crime which must be erased. Each and every person whose hands have become polluted in the contribution towards this crime must pay its price, and pay for it heavily.”

Bin Laden went on to blame American taxpayers and civilians for the plight of Palestinians under Israeli occupation. “The American people are the ones who choose their government by way of their own free will; a choice which stems from their agreement to its policies. Thus the American people have chosen, consented to, and affirmed their support for the Israeli oppression of the Palestinians, the occupation and usurpation of their land, and its continuous killing, torture, punishment and expulsion of the Palestinians. The American people have the ability and choice to refuse the policies of their Government and even to change it if they want.

“The American people are the ones who pay the taxes which fund the planes that bomb us in Afghanistan, the tanks that strike and destroy our homes in Palestine, the armies which occupy our lands in the Arabian Gulf, and the fleets which ensure the blockade of Iraq.

“These tax dollars are given to Israel for it to continue to attack us and penetrate our lands. So the American people are the ones who fund the attacks against us, and they are the ones who oversee the expenditure of these monies in the way they wish, through their elected candidates.”

Thus the reason, as announced by the al-Qaeda leader in person, for the events of 9-11 and other attacks, is the fact that the West supports and maintains the state of Israel.

This in turn is the direct result of the undue influence which the Zionist lobby in America (which, it must be pointed out, consist of right wing Jews and fundamentalist Christians) exerts over US foreign policy. This in turn is replicated in many other Western nations, including that of Britain.

Thus, the reason why the controlled media never dares mention the “why” of 9-11 is that it is too “politically incorrect” to do so. They dare not mention the true nature of radical Islam; they dare not mention the insanity of open door immigration policies; and they dare not mention the influence of the Zionist lobby upon Western foreign policy.

Until all three of these issues are addressed, and their consequences squarely and honestly dealt with, terrorism against western targets will continue.

This, then, is the true lesson of the events of 9-11, and the only way in which similar events can be avoided in the future.

Recommended reading: The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy

By John J Mearsheimer and Stephen M Walt. This  book, written by Professor Mearsheimer of the Political Science department at the University of Chicago, and Professor Walt of the Department of International Relations at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, was a New York Times Best Seller when first published.

Although not the first book on the topic of the Jewish lobby in America, it was the first to gain establishment recognition as it accurately described the power and influence of the Zionist lobby in Washington DC, and how this power was detrimental to the interests of the United States.

The authors show that the lobby “has a core consisting of organizations whose declared purpose is to encourage the U.S. government and the American public to provide material aid to Israel and to support its government’s policies, as well as influential individuals for whom these goals are also a top priority.” They point out that “the bulk of the lobby is comprised of Jewish Americans,” but also includes fundamentalist Christian Zionists and neoconservatives.

The book shows in clear detail how US support for Israel is itself a prime cause for terrorism directed against US interests, and that the so-called “rogue states” which this policy causes America to attack (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya) present no direct threat to the USA, but rather to Israel and that American support for Israel makes it harder to deal with rogue states.

The authors show that this power is achieved not, as virulent anti-Semites would claim, through a conspiracy in back rooms. Rather, the authors show, the Israel lobby operates openly and actively. Their campaign efforts, mainly through the American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC) raise money, lobby politicians and dominate debate in the media. The authors point out that in a democracy a narrowly focused interest group can often get its way; a small number of Americans are passionate about Israel while the overwhelming majority are relatively indifferent either way. Accordingly, politicians find it helpful to appease the Israel lobby; safe in the knowledge that their doing so will not result in any meaningful loss of support from the rest of the population.

The book examines in detail how the lobby operates. One statistic stands out. Between 1990 and 2004, pro-Israel groups contributed nearly $57 million to candidates and parties while Arab American and Muslim Political Action Committees contributed slightly less than $800,000.

A riveting book, and one which is crucial to understanding contemporary world events, and how they negatively impact upon European people around the globe. P/B 496 pp. Click here to order online.

  1. One irony that never ceases to amaze me is this:

Wannabe (as opposed to ‘Wahabi’) islamist terrorists in Britain always use the plight of Palestinians to justify themselves.
What they cannot and will not see is that it is the thnic British people who are the ‘Palestinians’ in Britain ie the indigenous British are being over-run and pushed out by ethnic invaders who happen to be islamic.
    They are the real zionists.

  2. Good article that deals fearlessly with the facts. Just what I expect from bnp ideas.

The main party website has become an embarrassment.

  3. I see the media and BBC are now starting to give air time to the ‘conspiracy theory’ that Bush manufactured this evil act.
Because of course the religion of peace couldn’t really have carried out this act.
The more Islam is excused the more terror it inflicts.

On a separate note why am I the only one with an avatar?

  4. I am a fundamentalist Christian Zionist in the sense that I believe that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.

Ethnic Israela and Medinat Israel does not need our support: it has an arm far stronger than the arm of flesh to sustain it.

Nevertheless, the God who has called Israel has ordained that we should live as nations in our nations and that to all nations the gospel of salvation should be preached!

God’s call to repentance is to Jew and Gentile (including the Arabs); nevertheless, His land – the holy land – is to the Jew/Israelite.

I know that not everyone will like this but I haved simply got to ‘preach’ the truth as I see it.

    • I don’t see how ethnic cleansing and an apartheid state is a fulfilment of Biblical prophecy. I’m also pretty sure Christ would not agree with the Gaza concentration camp, nor with the IDF using them, and their civilian infrastructure, as target practice for their latest munitions.

The state of Israel/Palestine should be somewhere where, at the very least, Palestinian Christians can in live in peace next to Jewish people.

I hope I am misinformed about this thanks to the MSM, and that you can put me right, based on your first-hand knowledge and travels in the Holy land?

      • I can see what you are trying to say and that what has happened to the Arab Palestinians is hard – they have lost much of their land.

However, the land of Israel is only a very small part of the whole of the Arab Middle East and it may not be too much to ask some Arabs to re-locate so as to enable the Israelite nation to have a national home of its own in its ancient and historic homeland, where their ancestors are buried and their religious book is rooted.

We have to consider both sides.

I think the land of Israel is only about the size of Wales and it has no oil; so maybe the Israelites are not asking too much of their Arab friends in wanting it.

I am not sure that describing the State of Israel as an apartheid state is helpful.

Apartheid has become an emotive term which is heavily value-laden and tends to cause prejudice towards groups that we use it against.

The real meaning of apartheid is simply aparthood and, shorn of its negative overtones, is what everyone in some sense seems to want, even the Arab Palestinians. They want a state of their own, apart from the Jews! I can appreciate that for both sides – it is what nationalism or ethnocentrism is all about. Every race wants to be themselves by themselves. That is their comfort zone.

Alas, it is being denied to many in large areas of the world due to the “free movement of labour” and is likely to store up a lot of trouble for the future, not just in the Middle East.

        • Dear Reverend.
Youe support for Israel is misguided. The State of israel dominates the Middle East area, as it intended to do, economically and militarily. The claim by Jews in 1948 that they were entitled to the land that is now Israel as it was the ancestral land of the Jewish people, is also false. When the Jews, led by Moses were expelled from Egypt, (yes that’s right) they wandered looking for land. After the death of Moses, a good Egyptian boy, Joshua led the people of Israel until they came to Canaan, a land that they had no historic connection with. Joshua set about establishing and training a highly skilled army. When his army was ready he marched into Canaan attacking cities and not only murdering the people, men, women and children, but even the animals as they were considered unclean. Joshua could have taught the Waffen SS a thing or two. The first land of Israel was taken by force and murder. Ethnic cleansing at it’s most efficient and callous.
So when we hear the bleating of present day Jews, who have stolen the land from Palestinians at gun point, aided I am ashamed to say by the Britsh army, under orders from a Labour Government, do please remember that the Jewish people have no more right to Palestine than we have.

          • Yes, I do understand where you are coming from as God did order the twelve tribes of Israel to extirminate the Canaanites for their sin and to re-populate the land with themselves. But that would not be a precedent for today because God’s command to Israel was a one-off, though God still does judge sin – individual and national.

    • With respect, Robert, you may not have heard of the idea that modern (well – since about 800 AD) Jews, the great majority of so-called Jews, were the product of a mass conversion of Khazars to the east of Europe. This theory explains why there were so many Jews in Poland, Russia, Hungary etc, something hard to explain if a tiny tribe in Palestine had had some sort of exodus. (The only popular work on this is so far as I know is Arthur Koestler’s Thirteenth Tribe, no doubt available as a download. There are millons of gullible American fundamentalists who support what they imagine to be Israel. In fact their colleges are subsidised by American Jews, no doubt with taxpayers’ money.

[Ed’s note: The “Khazar” theory has been thoroughly disproved by modern genetics. It is a myth.
The Khazars were a central Asian tribe. DNA studies of modern Jewish populations have shown that 12% of Ashkenazim Jews do have a central Asian DNA strand.
There is however no evidence that this 12% strain — which exists among a small group of male Ashkenazim Jews — is actually Khazarian in origin.
This DNA strand could be of any origin–but even if it is Khazar (and it is worth repeating that there is no proof for this) then it still comprises only 12% of Ashkenazim Jews, and therefore less than 6% of all Jews (Ashkenazim and Sephardic).
Be careful not to propagate easily disproved lies as it will affect the credibility of all your arguments.

      • Yes, thanks, ed. The fact is there’s a lot hanging on this issue. And another fact is that Jews have a long history of scientific fraud. I don’t think there’s any serious doubt about the Khazar conversion, or the large numbers of the Khazar population who migrated, mainly north, in subsequent centuries. Short of using a time machine to revisit the Khazar lands in the 8th century to take samples, to find “a central Asian DNA strand”, evidence remains inconclusive. The whole authorship and writing style of that paper in unimpressive.

        • Indeed, I would be higly suspicious of an American publication on Jewish DNA: they don’t just dominate Hollywood over there… How did the likes of the ADL (the Zionist one) react to Almut Nebel’s publication?

[Ed’s note: that study is not the only one in this regard. DNA does not lie, and the “Khazar” theory has now been conclusively disproved.]

          • It has not been conclusively disproved.

[1] Do you really imagine Polish and Russian etc Jews are indistinguishable from Arabs? You can see they’re different.
[2] There is no DNA surviving from 750AD or so Khazaria. The same applies to Arabs etc but maybe that’s too much for you.
[3] For the present there is a lot of uncertainty over these issues. The subject is multi-disciplinary – or would be if it were treated properly. The Khazaria conversion is at least as certain as many other Medieval events.

    • Dear Rev, The article above is not meant to be a judgement call on whether the West should support Israel or not. In fact, the most likely solution to the problem is a two-state settlement, which has been offered by liberal and left-wing Jews, and which Yasser Arafat actually accepted.
The point of the article is to understand that Western support for Israel, and Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians, provides a perfect “excuse” for the Islamists to incite Muslims to attack Western targets. As said, the article is not a judgement call on the correctness or otherwise of support for Israel–merely that there are unquestioned consequences to that policy and that the establishment politicians and controlled media deliberately lie and suppress this fact.-Ed

      • Many thanks for clarifying that point.

      • I have a Degree in theology (University of Canterbury in Kent 1980) but, unlike the Reverend, I am not a Christian believer and I do not believe in the Bible’s God. (I am actually a pagan by belief). However, I certainly respect the Reverend Robert West and his views, and as Voltaire said, I “would fight to the death to preserve his right to say them,” and let’s face it, nobody really knows which belief is right until after they die, when it’s too late to change your vote. I mention where I am coming from spiritually, because I, too, tend to support Israel. This is for one very good reason – Israel is the only country in the Middle East (and the only nuclear power) which opposes Islam and its sinister spread like a cancer into western civilisation. If Israel falls, the world is probably doomed, and the apocalyptic armageddon will sweep the world in the form of compulsory Islam (which is already being pushed upon us). I therefore support anybody who supports Israel.

      • Yes, given the current-day situation around Jerusalem, and the neighbouring Islamic states attitude of keeping the Palestinians hostage, a two-state ‘solution’ (I’m guessing it won’t settle everything at once) is the only pragmatic thing to do, and will hopefully reduce the number of missiles flying across Israeli borders(both ways).

  5. Never mind the MSM, or puppet politicians, not addressing the obvious lies they spread about major terror attacks and resulting fear&control policies. What irks me is that the majority of people does not care. They happily go along with everything and take off their shoes to get on their flight… utter sheep, blinkered and selfish.

  6. In his book “Blair’s Wars”, described by Anthony Howard in The Sunday Times Books of the Year as “Brilliant … highly perceptive”, author John Kampfner reveals the premonition of a disturbing Machiavellian benefit for the Bush administration from the devastating attacks on the world Trade Centre and Pentagon in 2001.

In September 2000 “the Project for the New American Century published a document entitled ‘Rebuilding America’s Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources’. Behind it were the familiar faces of neoconservatism -Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle [the latter two had close links with Israeli military]. In their paper they called for a massive increase in defense spending so that the US could ‘fight and win multiple, simultaneous, major-theatre wars'”.

“They pondered that some ‘catastrophic and catalysing event, like a new Pearl Harbor’ was needed to assure US global power … they were looking for a reason to expand US influence in the Middle East and elsewhere.”

Twelve months later these powerful neocons got their ‘new Pearl Harbor’ to justify massive US re-arming and invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.

This week our homegrown warmonger for the New World Order, Tony Blair, called for regime-change in Iran. It must be time to start yet another bloody war?

  7. As I understand the politics of the Middle East, Israel is hated by all her surrounding Arab nations. This is, however, not because of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians. The Palestinians have been denied asylum or any real help by those surrounding Arab countries and their plight used as a political football/grievance in order to criticise the validity of the state of Israel. All of those Arab nations want to see the state of Israel totally destroyed, they would never be pacified by a “two state” settlement. This isn’t the game plan of the surrounding Arab nations. The USA has been giving massive amounts of money to Israel in the form of credits to be able to purchase US weapons. Effectively using US public money to subsidize the US weapons industry. This has been for Israel to support American interests in the region, as Israel was regarded as an agent of US policy there. The Nation of Israel has every right to exist, just as all Nations do as the Rev. Robert West has quite rightly stated. Those who are fooled into believing that the Palestinians are being treated with oppression and injustice need to understand that the Israelis have been terrorised and murdered by these people and their fellow Arabs for decades and have had to defend themselves. They were given no other choice. Nevertheless, please allow me to put forward a possible view of how things are changing in the region, and what the purpose may be for all these changes.
As we have now had the so called “Arab spring”, where so called democracy is expected to emerge in some of the former dictatorships, US policy seems to be changing with regard to Israel. Of course when I say democracy I mean the same sham that passes for democracy here in the west being installed with puppet governments, like in Afghanistan for instance. This is a major change of policy by the US Globalists who obviously see this as a way of appeasing the many angry and possibly violent Muslim reactionaries in the region. The 9/11 terrorists were driven by hatred for the USA because of its support for Israel, which is exactly what Bin Laden stated. The USA seems to be switching from an openly aggressive and dominating role in the region to being a friend of democratic regimes in order to disarm the anger and hatred which fuels the arguments that the terrorist recruitment agents use. The game plan is very simple and it relies on fooling the majority of the populations of Middle Eastern nations, just as they fool the majority here into believing we actually live in a democracy. The media in the west are used to control public opinion, demonise all opposition and conceal the truth. They would be used in exactly the same way in the Middle East. While the masses can be convinced that they have autonomy and choice of government, allied to personal prosperity of course, they would be far less likely to want to attack the USA. Israel is in a very different position, of course. It seems that Israel is being abandoned as an agent for US policy. That could mean Israel is left to defend herself without US help in the future which would be catastrophic should the Arabs continue to demand the destruction of Israel. Globalists seem more interested in wealth, power and control than in any moral duty towards nations, and the pacification of the Middle East is crucial to creating peace in order to facilitate control over the region, along with the control being exerted on us here in Britain and Europe via the highly undemocratic and dictatorial EU.
