“Democracy” Takes Root in Iraq—Or Was it the Plan All Along?

The latest bombings in Iraq which have killed another 14 people brings the total number of dead in such incidents to 170 in 24 days—and violence continues to escalate now that the axis-of-evil Tony Blair/George Bush invasion has officially ended.

The attacks are widely regarded as the first signs that the country is slipping into civil war between Shia and Sunni-Muslims, with Kurdish militant separatists stepping up their demands and offensive in the north of that country.

Part of the Bush-Blair lies “justifying” the invasion of Iraq were to bring “peace and democracy” to that country.

The “main” reason was, of course, the fictional “weapons of mass destruction” which never existed and have been proven to have been cold, calculated and conscious lies.

The anarchy which has plagued Iraq ever since the toppling of the dictator Saddam Hussein is however the natural consequence of deluded western liberals trying to impose First World standards of democracy upon what is essentially, at best, a Second World population.

The experiment is bound to fail, as the reality is now unfolding before everyone’s eyes.

However, cynical observers might be tempted to speculate that this is actually what was planned all along. Iraq, a dictatorship which ruthlessly suppressed all signs of anarchy (including Al-Qaeda) under Saddam Hussein, and which was one of Israel’s most outspoken opponents in the Middle East, has been reduced to rubble and anarchy.

Cui bono (“To whose benefit?”) one might well ask.

Exactly the same pattern is emerging in the continuing assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists.

First, the lie has been developed that Iran has, or is on the brink of, building an atom bomb. This easily-disproven lie (nuclear weapons require enriched uranium of more than 90 percent, and Iran has not reached anywhere near that level of enrichment) has “justified” a violent and murderous covert war on Iran, with intelligence provided by the US and the “wet work” of murders being carried out by the Israeli secret service.

According to reports, at least four Iranian scientists have been assassinated by masked gunmen in Iran over the last 24 months. In addition, the Israeli secret service launched the infamous stuxnet virus against Iranian computer systems linked to its nuclear infrastructure in 2010.

All of these actions will have direct, and serious consequences for ordinary Americans and British nations. The Iranians are being goaded into a response, and that nation’s intelligence minister Heidar Moslehi has vowed a “crushing response” directed against the United States, United Kingdom and Israel in response to the campaign of murder against its nationals.

Iran has also threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, which will cut off around one fifth of the world’s oil production, and only a short while ago, sentenced an Iranian-American to death, accusing the former soldier of spying for the CIA.

It is a witches’ brew of trouble, from which any sensible government would withdraw immediately. Sadly, however, we appear to have no sensible governments in the west.
