BBC Report Reflects Changing Attitudes to Immigration

An interesting audiovisual offering from the BBC this morning on the subject of immigration as it impacts upon one of our increasingly “enriched” towns.

The BBC reports from Peterborough (not a million miles from the former English city of Leicester – or Luton – for that matter)) where migrants make up 20% of the population – a figure, presumably, based on place of birth, rather than on ethnicity (in which case the percentage would be considerably higher).

Of particular interest is the comment made which implies there is a difference in terms of acceptability between “racism” and xenophobia – the former being unacceptable, the other apparently fair comment, in the eyes of the media/mind-bender class.

Also of interest is the fact that people are now freely talking about the once taboo subject of immigration – a subject that once was nearly always preceded with the words “I’m not a racist but ….”.

  1. As words are playing a major part in destroying our people I think the word Xenophile
should be used more to describe our enemies.

  2. Although the media are still up to their old tricks, Immigration is not only an issue but the issue. The Façade of Happy, Happy, Multi-culty Britain is cracking ! Since the MASSACRE of our Hero LEE RIGBY in WOOLWICH things have changed for ever ! The Funeral is on the 12/7/2013 and the trial, at the OLD BAILEY is in November ! BE THERE !
