50,000 A4 colour campaign leaflets printed

By Leicestershire Correspondent

Recently the Party printed 40,000 leaflets to sow the seeds of growth in different regions. As I write the Party has earmarked; Bradford, Wakefield, Thurrock, London, Leicestershire, parts of the West Midlands, Dorset, and hopefully the parts of the South East soon for many of these, in fact leaflets are already going out as in different locations.

Due to demand the Party ran out of leaflets in West Yorkshire and to aid growth in Wakefield and to help with campaigns in Bradford for May another print run of 10,000 had to be done.

Such signs are positive and show the Party is starting to grow outside of its campaign areas of the last 18 months.

The leaflets are hard hitting and colourful and have a return box for interested persons. More importantly, they highlight a real difference between the Party and UKIP in terms of economic and immigration policy. We oppose all mass immigration, UKIP only want to stop EU -immigration, which makes up less than half of those entering the UK each year.

Before the expansion of the EU in 2004, did we not have an immigration problem? I’m sure we did! In a post war context our immigration problem in the UK dates back to 1948.

Many falsely assume that UKIP are the British equivalent of the Front Nationale (FN) – in fact they are akin to the Union for Popular Movement (UMP).

A recent census showed that 1 in 5 people in the UK are now non-British it is this fact alone should send alarm bells ringing. We are being removed and replaced in a land where we have resided, and made a European and global power for tens of thousands of years.

Leicester – (a Romanesque name I might add) used to be the third richest city in Europe with a strong economy, high standard of living and a British population working in tandem. Now the very people that built the City are in a minority, with few rights, their history being closed and knocked down. Leicester is now divided along racial, cultural and religious boundaries.

It is time for national unity, for people to get back involved with our Party and make a stand, to fight for our past, present and future!

  1. Call me cynical—call me worse if you wish, I can bear it—but I think the time is long overdue to offer the natives of this country much more. Quite often, folk are just not ready to hear what is wrong, they are frequently not even prepared for the solution, but they can bring themselves to believe in an aftermath. I think the British need more than even hope can provide; they require a vision of what might be, of what could be Britain if it embraced a sense of tribal solidarity and racial nationalism. Give them faith in the future, a way out of this terminal decline – give them more than they anticipate getting today. Tap into the individual myopia of man, as well as the incessant yearning for something greater: the true national entity.

  2. This idea is a step in the right direction, no Party can seek to grow without outlining where it stands. The only way to change and bring people back on board is through leafleting. As we are witnessing in Europe there is a huge swing to patriotic movements. Whilst we are alive, we can win!

  3. I think ''Brit Dems'' or ''British Democrats'' would have a wider appeal than British Democratic Party/ BDP …the initials are too similar to a familiar but irreperably damaged brand.  Site's looking good. What areas of London, no need to be too specific, will Brit Dems be leafleting ?

I agree with regards to BDP, adding that to the logo was a mistake. However, I also believe that the term Brit Dems sounds too similar to a lefty party and sounds too trendy for a patriotic party. For reference the leaflets have 'British Democrats' as a sensible medium in line with the logo on the improved website. The location of leaflets will be down to those in their local areas. Clearly lealfets will be targetted in areas with historically decent patrotic activity first.

    • There are some more inspiring names that could have been chosen but I believe some of them have already been used and the Electoral Commission won't allow any new parties to use them if the other organisations are still in existence. Having said that, the name isn't too important and we need to concentrate upon getting our policies right and being a credible party to present them to the electorate. If we can do that, then before too long we will start to challenge the other parties.

  4. and REMEMBER…… "politicians and nappies should be changed often, and for the same reason".

  5. A Journey of a 1,OOO miles starts with one small step. Our four page colour leaflet, with 50 to 1OO being delivered to households nearly every day, is that step.

  6. How can we order these leaflets? I’m up for puting a good few out in my locality.

  7. To JS (who asked what areas of London will be receiving the British Democrat warm-up leaflet): North London will be leafleted, as well as two areas in Essex and Kent.
